T3 Hedeby/Haithabu Arrow head.
We are delighted to present these wonderful close copies of the original head, they are made in the sunny North of England from Mild steel (High Carbon available upon request POA)
The T3, a larger broadhead of which 5 were found in the original collection. The head measures 115mm in total length, of which 26mm is the tang. The tang, as with T2, is 3mm square
tapering down to 0.5mm square. The ferrule, indicated by the red arrow, is a tapering oval in cross section, going from 5mm round at the shoulder to 7mm x 4mm at the transition to the blade and
measures approximately 30mm in length. The blade is 55mm long, 3mm thick at the spine and 15mm in width.
