About Us

Merchant of Menace is a York based family business that specialises in producing equipment for Viking, Saxon and Norman Re-enactors, LARP, Film and TV companies worldwide. We have our stock lines but we also welcome bespoke and commission work.

Merchant of Menace was established in 2010 by Master Craftsman Luke Holbrook, he currently works from his fully equipped workshop in South Yorkshire which can accommodate custom work as well as small or large wholesale orders.

Luke runs Merchant of Menace & The Hardbrook Leather Works with his wife Steff, Luke & Steff split their time between the business and their young daughter Hannah who is very enthusiastic about everything.
