Medieval wooden core scabbard 12th Century Type Z

The Scabbard has been made with a a Sheep skin top lined Beech wood core,  Veg tan Goat leather which has a hand sewn rear seam and a whip stitch top weather guard.

The broad tie belt is made from Veg-tan leather that has been waxed with MOM’s Leather Grease and will darken slightly over time.

This scabbard will accommodate a blade with the maximum measurements below:

Blade Width at cross guard: 4.5 cm
Blade Width at tip (just before it rounds): 2 cm
Blade Length: 71cm
The tie belt will fit a 30-50″ waist/where you wear it.
Flat top
Suitable for portrayal of a 12th – 14th C ‘European’ persona.
