We are delighted to offer our Mid-High Level sword scabbards as part of our new range.
The Scabbard is built with a sheep skin lined wooden core with integral strap slide (Spruce) and covered with Veg tan goat leather which is hand sewn using natural linen thread and features an integral weather guard and raised detailing.
The straps are made from Veg-tan Goat leather that has been folded and sewn down both sides with natural linen thread. Please select the strap length you require (belt or baldric) and the culture of the buckle & strap end from the drop down menu, exact buckle and strap end to be discussed after order.
We make these to order so please allow 2-4 weeks for production and dispatch, if you are on a deadline please contact us before ordering
****Please note that the leather is natural veg tan which has been dyed with modern dyes to imitate spruce bark tanage, also that goats aren’t that big so your strap will have a joins in it, this will not effect its strength****
Suitable for portrayal of a 9th – 10th C ‘European’ persona.
