Coppergate (york) coin pouch, 10th C Anglo-Scandinavian.
We are delighted to offer for sale our interpretation of the original pouch. We have drawn together the available information and combined it with similar period examples and construction methods to bring you our best guess.
It is a two piece turn pouch made from premium veg- tan goat skin with a veg-tan leather lace closure. You can fit your days coin in this pouch, and shake the coins into the centre to select you ones you need with out dropping them.
