Description
We are delighted to offer this hand made Seax and sheath set as part of our updated range.
Seax – The blade is made from 01 Tool steel with a fine cutting edge mounted in an Apple wood handle finished with teak oil and pine tar.
Sheath – Very close copy of the Hedeby P21-5 sheath has a full Velum liner fixed with hide glue to traditionally pit tanned red deer leather outer all hand sewn with linen tread, Please note that the finish and colour is due to the tanage of the leather and will include slight blemishes
Please allow some variation in colour due to differences in monitor resolution.
Suitable for portrayal of a 8th-11th C ‘Scandinavian’ persona.
This Seax set is accepted for use within:
