M6 Hedeby/Haithabu Arrow head.
We are delighted to present these wonderful close copies of the original head, they are made in the sunny North of England from Mild steel (High Carbon available upon request POA)
The M6, a deeply fullered trefoil arrowhead with a slender tapering ferrule. It measures 85mm in total length, of which 25mm is tang. The ferrule is slightly ovular at the shoulder to the tang, measuiring8mm x 6mm, and is 3mm round at it’s thinnest point, measuring approximately 23mm in length. The blade section is 40mm in length, each face of the triangle being 10mm in width. The fullered channels on each face are 2mm deep.
